Charles (Chuck) Maybee serves as Operations Manager at Resource Energy. Mr. Maybee’s keen eye for detail and ability to manage data and people coupled with his varied high-caliber technical experience make him an ideal asset to Resource Energy’s team.
Prior to his tenure at Resource Energy, Mr. Maybee served at Fidelity E&P Company as Technical Lead of the US Operations. Mr. Maybee steered Fidelity’s Reservoir, Facilities and Production teams in both the Paradox Basin and East Texas plays to result in 8% increase in bookable reserves along with a 52% increase in net cash flow. Mr. Maybee’s diverse experience includes leading teams through the processes of acquisitions and divestitures, drilling and completions, facility design, joint ventures, logging, operations, production and ensuring regulatory compliance. He has had both domestic and international experience working most major basins in the world.
Mr. Maybee is a graduate of the University of Wyoming where he earned a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering. In 2003, Mr. Maybee authored a technical paper which describes the integration between a dynamic surveillance tool and a system analysis tool to provide the surveillance engineer with a new, fully automated and technically rigorous system, capable of true performance monitoring and reliable production test validation. Mr. Maybee is a long-term member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers as well as a participant in their mentoring program and a member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers. Additionally, he is a supporter of the Shining Stars foundation, a charity which assists children battling cancer and their families.
