Kent Moore serves as Executive Director at Resource Energy. Mr. Moore is an analytical and purposeful leader and has been a founding member of several successful business ventures. In Mr. Moore’s role at Resource Energy, he excels in financial, marketing and organizational matters.
Moore was a co-founder and director of American Midstream Partners, LP, now a public company. He is also a co-founder and former managing director of High Sierra Energy LP and GP, both of which were formed in 2004. High Sierra is now a part of NGL Energy Partners a public MLP.
Mr. Moore was a vice-president with Exeter Drilling Company and served on the Exeter profit sharing board of trustees from 1978 until 1986. Mr. Moore also co-founded and was President of Caza Drilling Company from 1986 through the sale of Caza to Ensign Resource Services in 1993. Moore also owns oil and gas interests through Eagle River Ventures, LLC.
Mr. Moore spent 6 years in the Mutual Fund Industry from 1997 through 2002. He was a Vice-President at Janus and worked as an analyst and portfolio manager. He was also an analyst/portfolio manager at Marsico Capital. After working at these two companies Moore served as an independent trustee for the Old Mutual Funds trusts I and II and was the independent chairman. He also served as an independent director at Claymore and Guggenheim Funds. Moore served on the board of Denver Based Union Bank and Trust.
Mr. Moore has a B.S. degree in Industrial Management from Purdue University. He is a former member of the board of directors of the Providence Network where he served for 17 years. He is currently on the advisory board of Denver based Open Door Ministries. Moore is a vice-president of the board of the Colorado Golf Association and was elected to the Colorado Golf Hall of Fame in 2004. In his leisure time he is an avid golf competitor.
